The Inspiration Project

The Inspiration Project is built upon the idea that inspiration is more than a simple "ah-ha!" moment. Love, Walk, and Solve are the three cornerstone verbs for the Inspiration Project encouraging people to do all three. To love, take action, and to solve problems. The poster series provides inspirational quotes based on each verb to get people thinking. The rectangular desk toppers/bookmarks/leave-behinds/whatever-you-want-them-to-be expand on that by simply displaying one of the words and a corresponding quotation on the back. The bracelets are coordinated with each word's theme color (orange, aqua, purple) and serve as a simple reminder to live a life inspired.

Firefly Tea

Firefly Tea is a line of loose leaf tea that comes in the jars to resemble the types of jars that fireflies are caught in. The color palette used to display the changing flavors are somewhat rustic and reflect the colors that are found in the sunset during dusk, the time at which fireflies come out.

Polly's Soda Pop

Polly’s Soda Pop provides a fun, retro feel for soda pop’s classic flavors including cream soda, cherry cola, original cola, and rootbeer. The starburst slightly resembles a cross to portray the company's mission to donate 10% of profits to local churches.

Sword Clothing Company

Sword Clothing Company is an urban tshirt company specializing in humorous illustrative designs. Each design is coupled with a Bible verse, however, the Bible verse is displayed in a very subtle manner. For example, the tote bag design with the boy giving the girl a carrot has "Proverbs15:17" on it, which says: "Better a meal of vegetables where there is love than a fattened calf with hatred" (NIV). The idea behind Sword Clothing Company is to provide a clothing line that can be worn and enjoyed by everybody because of the illustration, regardless of any religious affiliation.

A postcard unique to The Living Room. These are to inspire guests to write to a friend or family member.

Packaging

Complete album artwork designed for Wilco, an alternative rock/folk band. I used imagery that conveyed the feeling of a bare and uninhabited place so that the entire album felt like it’s title, “More Like The Moon.”
